The Team

	Shivam Srivastava (Co-founder, Director): Shivam is a Master of Public Administration (2012) graduate from School of International & Public Affairs, Columbia University in the City of New York, and B.Tech (2007) from IIT Kanpur. He worked with Prudential Process Management Services, Mumbai as an Actuarial Analyst until May 2010. Earlier Shivam has also worked as a Research Assistant at Powder Metallurgy Lab, IIT Kanpur, and then for a short term at Center For Metal & Fibre Research, Deakin University, Australia. Shivam has a keen interest in music and likes to play keyboard in his spare time.

	Shubham Srivastava (Co-founder, Director): Shubham completed his MBA from Indian School of Business (ISB) in 2013 with a concentration in Finance and industry specialization in Healthcare Management. He is currently working with Deloitte Consutling in Hyderabad. He graduated from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani in 2009. Shubham has interests in rock music, movies, travel and motorcycles.

	Charudatta Galande (Head, Strategy & Planning): Charu is currently a doctoral student at Rice University in Houston, Texas, USA. He graduated from IIT Kanpur in 2007. He worked for a year at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai after graduation. Despite his engineering background, Charu is an artist in spirit - a keen observer, photographer and writer. He also entertains diverse interests such as sound mixing, making short-films and travelling to random destinations apart from movies and music.

	Siddhartha Jain (Head, Strategy & Planning): Siddharth is currently working at WINGAS UK, London (a joint venture of the BASF Group and Gazprom). He is responsible for managing the market risk of the company's natural gas supply contracts and other traded positions as well as optimizing the risk-return profile of the portfolio. Previously, he worked as an Analyst at Lehman Brothers/Nomura from 2008 to 2010. His interest in energy started with a consulting project for a solar thermal energy company. He received a Master's degree from the London School of Economics in 2011. His first degree was in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur, India (2008).

	Shefali Srivastava (Head, Due Diligence & NGO Relations): Shefali holds a master’s degree in English literature and Education from University of Delhi. She has taught in schools of Delhi. She has also worked on projects such as conducting an evaluation study and a baseline study for two NGOs based in Delhi. Shefali likes to paint and listen to music in her free time.

	Neerav Verma (Head, Publicity & Outreach): Neerav Verma is currently working as a Research Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry, supporting the upstream functions through research and development. He completed his MS and PhD in 2011 from Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA, USA) in Materials Science and Engineering. Before that, he completed his B.Tech in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Kanpur (UP, India) in 2007. He also worked on a short term project at EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland as a summer intern in 2006. Neerav likes to do sketching/painting in his spare time.

	Sandeep Shinde (Head, Publicity & Outreach): Sandeep graduated from IIT Kanpur in 2007 with a B.Tech in Materials & Metallurgical Engineering, and then worked with Schlumberger (Oil & Gas Industry) as a Field Engineer based at Mumbai. He also has a short-term experience of working at TATA Steel, Jamshedpur and is currently working as Asst. Manager - Business Strategy at Wadhawan Holdings, Mumbai. He is a sports enthusiast to the core and is avidly involved into biking, trekking, other adventure sports and photography.

	Neha Khandelwal (Head, Corporate Relations & Partnerships): Neha graduated from IIT Bombay in 2006 with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, and is currently working with Prudential Process Management Services, Mumbai as Assistant Manager – Marketing Analytics. Neha is a core team member of the community initiative at Prudential and is also volunteering for Ennovent – innovations for sustainability in her spare time. Neha is a complete movie buff and has a keen interest in dramatics.

	Neha Aggarwal (Head, Corporate Relations & Partnerships): Neha is a part of the investment team at Temasek in Mumbai. She graduated in 2008 from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, with a B.Com(Hons) degree. An explorer at heart, she loves to travel and read.

	Sagar Gupta (Head, Corporate Relations & Partnerships): Sagar Gupta is currently pursuing his MBA from the Indian School of Business. Prior to joining ISB, Sagar worked with Microsoft as an Assistant Manager in Analytics, supporting marketers and sales excellence teams. Earlier, he has worked with Redwood Associates and was also responsible for setting up their New Delhi operations. Sagar graduated from IIT Kanpur in 2007 with a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. He enjoys travelling, be it business trips or for leisure.

	Amit Bhansali (Head, Donor Entitlements): Amit completed Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, US in 2009. Since then he has been working as an Energy/Commissioning Engineer at Command Commissioning LLC in Dallas, Texas. His passions include travelling, photography, reading and singing, and he is working towards starting an orphange in Indore.

	Saurabh Yadav (Head, Donor Entitlements): Saurabh Yadav is currently an undergraduate student at BITS Pilani. In June 2010, he will receive degrees in Biological Sciences and Mechanical Engineering. He has done internships at Imperial College London, UK and Technical University of Dresden, Germany. He likes making new friends and is fond of travelling.

	Sumeet Malik (Head, Social Media Presence): Sumeet graduated from IIT Bombay in 2008 with a B.Tech & M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science. Since then he has been working with Deutsche Bank as Analyst, Global Prime Finance. Sumeet is a travel enthusiast & an adventurer to the core, and still pursues his passion for football in spare time after office. He believes in using his potential for positive social impact.

	Sanghamitra Dey (Applications Developer): Sanghamitra graduated from Sri Venkateshwara College, Delhi University with BSc(Hons), Statistics in 2006. She worked with McKinsey Knowledge Centre for about two years in Analytics/Corporate Risk Analytics, and then joined Prudential Process Management Services, Mumbai as an Actuarial Analyst. She enjoys listening to music, watching movies and reading in her spare time.

	Vibhor Goyal (Publicity & Outreach): Vibhor graduated from the Delhi College of Engineering with a B.E. in Electrical Engineering in 2008. He is currently working as a Consultant with the Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) team at Ernst & Young (Mumbai). He enjoys playing sports and is fond of travelling.

	Akash Raman: Akash is currently a PhD candidate at the Harvard University. A graduate from BITS-Pilani, Goa, Akash was the founder Co-President of the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) on campus. He has an array of research stints at Infineon Technologies (Singapore), Indian Institute of Astrophysics (Bangalore) and Raman Research Institute (Bangalore). Interested in the areas of non-profits, development at the BoP, and education, he currently leads an alumni run initiative for higher education - BITS2MSPhD. He is also a StartingBloc fellow, and will be attending the institute in Feb-Mar 2010.

	Mohammad Asif Khan: Asif graduated from IIT Kanpur in 2009 with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering. He is presently working in Data Ratings Intelligence, a financial firm in Bangalore. He has had internship experiences at National Institute for Material Science, Tsukuba, Japan and Audi Cars, Neckarsulm, Germany. His interests include travelling, learning about different cultures, sociology and finance.
